Pontiac Country Fair

From Saturday, October 10 to Monday, October 12 2015



The Municipality of Pontiac unveils the program of its 2nd edition of the Pontiac Country Fair, to be held at the Luskville Falls on October 10, 11 and 12, 2015, from 10 am to 4 pm.

This is a festive event not-to-be-missed offering great local products, be it agricultural products or crafts produced by artisans from the municipality.

Among the exhibitors, to which would include:

  • Ferme Pays Vert (20 varieties of vegetables will be offered!)

  • Sempels Honey

  • Carolyn Kenney - agricultural producer

  • Claude Boileau - garlic producer

  • The local branch of « Union des producteurs agricoles »

  • Sarah Plouffe - artist

  • Pierre Sigouin - artisan

  • Susan Chartrand - artisan

  • Dolan Art & Photography

  • Magasin Pontiac Country store

  • Sandy Stitches Embroidery Service

  • Astro Pontiac

Several organizations working within the community will also be present to make their services and activities known, namely the Quyon Family Centre, the Pontiac Committee for children 0-5 years (parent/child activities), the MADA Committee, the Table autonome des aînés des Collines and the Grenier des Collines.

Entertainment for everyone

In addition to meeting local artisans and producers, a variety of activities will also be offered to visitors:

  • NCC guide-interpreters will be on hand to help you discover or re-discover the Luskville Falls and hiking trails;

  • A puppet theatre, face-painting and small farm animals will delight young children;

  • Tea and pie will be served at the Community Centre;

  • Activities will take place at the fire hall;

  • Horse-drawn carriage rides will be offered by Élevage Fabie and the history of the Canadian horse will be shared;

  • BBQ on-site;

Exciting equestrian competition

Also new this year, people will be able to watch an obstacle course competition, testing the riding skills of various disciplines.  This event, organized by the Pontiac Equestrian Association, will be held on Saturday, October 10th at 10 am, near the parking lot at the Falls.


Other information

All of these activities are free of charge, but we suggest you bring cash to pay for any purchases on-site, as there will be no ATM machines.
